“ **Cash only** Like most roadstead grease pits, this place keeps it down to earth. No frills, no fuss.. just good food at respectable prices. This place has been on my list for a while and the place was cute - indoor and outdoor seating. Small parking lot but easy enough to make it work. Bathroom outside (same as Hiram's) service was quick and pleasant. The burger was good. Would I say it's the best I've had? Best in NJ? Probably not but by no means was it bad. Smash burger, hand cut friends, crispy onion rings, and a birch beer. For me the start of the show was the hotdog. I got one of the pre-fixed (forgot the name but is up there) with chili, cheese, and fried onions. Honestly, I'd come back for that hotdog and I'd be open to trying their cheesesteak because of it. I have a feeling I'd be more impressed with that than their burger. ”

“ My favorite roadside burger joint in all of NJ, bar none. No matter what you get (I recommend the Steve's burger for a truly unique experience that is also award-winning), it will be very tasty. They even have their own soda brand, reasonably priced in the fridge in the back. I've had their black cherry and root beer, and I am a fan of both. Their hot dogs are also very good, and service is great and friendly in a rustic old roadside feel. Cash only, so come prepared. ”
“ Steve's is legendary here in NJ. On many Best Burger of NJ lists. Great little shack of a road-stand; 1-2 tables inside; a few outside; parking for maybe 10 cars. Burgers, dogs, chicken tenders,. cheese steaks, fries, onion rings, soda, milkshakes...... pretty much covers it. I think I like the chili dogs better. Is it in my Top 3 in NJ? ....no, but definitely a must if your a Foodie. ”
